David founded his bridal wear company in 1995, following several Haute Couture experiences in London and Paris, working with John Galliano and Helmut Lang.

He always personally welcomes each client to his workshop on Rue de Fleurus, just outside the Luxembourg Gardens, and advises them during their appointments.

Thanks to his attention to detail, haute couture expertise and creative and artistic vision, David Purves has become a leading figure in the world of wedding dresses in Paris and beyond.

A wedding dress designer, he is also one of the founding members and president of the Signé Couture Paris federation, which defends and protects the values of French couture craftsmanship, guaranteeing quality through a label.
